The creamery and farm of Nikola Pittaras are located in the traditional village of Melanes in Naxos. Starting dairy production in 2008, it managed to evolve within a few years into one of the largest creameries on the island, with full respect for the environment and the animals, which ensure 100% of the milk production.
In modern facilities, all products are produced with unmatched quality, such as Naxos graviera, sweet myzithra, xinomizithra, kefalotyri, and anthotyro. In fact, the products are continuously distinguished at national and international levels. The most significant and recent distinction came from the International Taste Institute, the most renowned certification for quality and taste worldwide, where the 12-month-aged P.O.P. Naxos Graviera Pittaras received the Superior Taste Award with 3 stars. The distribution of the products takes place both within and outside the island, sparking the interest of locals and tourists to discover the production process and the flavors.
