TRADITIONAL CREAMERY OF MARIA AND GIANNIS KAGANIS

The traditional creamery of Maria and Giannis Kaganis is located in the area of Platania in Naxos, in a rural settlement towards Agiassos, 4 km from Bazeos Tower. At the creamerie, which is part of their small livestock unit, dairy products are produced in a traditional way and are promoted on the island. Using milk from their own sheep and goats, Giannis and Maria produce with passion, great love, and traditional methods combined with modern touches, mainly arseniko cheese, and then myzithra and xinomizithra.
It is one of the eight cheese factories on the island that produces certified P.O.P. arseniko cheese. The cheese factory is particularly well-maintained, focusing on the willing service of visitors, locals, and tourists. Finally, it keeps the local heritage and tradition of the area alive, offering products that are distinguished for their taste and quality.
